Family Protection Center Closed Sept. 18

The Family Protection Center will be closed Thursday, Sept. 18, for staff professional development.

The center will reopen for normal business hours at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19.

Created in 2021, the Family Protection Center is a secure and supportive environment where petitioners receive assistance in completing and filing civil protection orders. The center is located on the 6th floor of the courthouse at 373 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio. 

The FPC team, consisting of six liaisons, a full-time staff attorney, and two staff members from Nationwide Children's Hospital's The Center for Family Safety and Healing, work collaboratively to provide survivors with critical resources and guidance.
