Life Skills and Knowledge
Youth may be connected to education, employment, and community-based support services to assist them in securing meaningful work and making progress toward their career goals. Support may include help with identifying and applying for part-time or full-time positions that align with their interests, are located within their community, and accommodate their schedules. Additional assistance may involve coordinating interview appointments, providing transportation to and from interviews, and offering follow-up support afterward.
In addition to employment services, youth may also receive guidance in developing essential life skills such as financial literacy, housing readiness, social interaction, and daily living skills, all of which contribute to long-term personal stability and independence.
