Please be prepared and arrive promptly on your court date.Check in with the appropriate court officer.If you need to go to another courtroom on a different case please check in and leave contact information with the court officer.

All litigants are expected to wear appropriate attire and act in a respectful manner in and around the courtroom. No use of cell phones in the courtroom unless special permission is granted for scheduling or other court related purposes.

Please do not bring your minor children to court.Obtain appropriate child-care prior to any court date. If your child is going to be interviewed by the court that will be pre-arranged.

Continuances may be granted for good cause.Typically a case will be continued once to allow parties to retain counsel, complete discovery, or to complete necessary services related to a case. After the first continuance the case needs to move forward at an appropriate pace.

Mediation is encouraged for appropriate cases.
